Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez have gone their separate ways.

They broke up about a week ago, a source exclusively tells E! News.

"Because of their crazy schedules, it was getting harder and harder to maintain a relationship," the source says.

Rumors that the adorable twosome had split started gaining traction in the last couple of weeks, but hit a high note just last night when Bieber, 18, was spotted with Victoria's Secret model Barbara Palvin, 19, seeing The Lion King on Broadway.

Gomez, 20, and the Biebs went public with their romance in February 2011 when they attended the Vanity Fair Oscar party together.

"I am happy," she told us a few months later about their romance. "I'm really happy."

No surprise, but many rabid Bieber fans have had it in for Gomez since day one, frequently attacking her via the Internet.

"It hurts, it really does," she once told Z100 radio in NYC. "I don't feel like I'm doing anything wrong. I've been best friends with him for a very long time. It does hurt my feelings a lot, but I try not to focus on it."

Selena Gomez is getting ready for the release of her new album, 'When the Sun Goes Down,' as well as her first headlining tour, and now the 18-year-old star is opening up to VEVO about her latest single and more.

In the interview, the Disney darling explains that 'Who Says' is the "most meaningful song that I've ever recorded." She tells a touching story about the inspiration behind the single, which she says has an "extremely positive message" and "a lot of heart."
As for her upcoming tour, Selena could not be happier to hit the road. "I am very excited to be on my first headlining tour," she says. "I'm nervous more than anything because I feel like there's going to be a bit of expectation."

Selena has performed at plenty of concerts, but she wants her fans to have an awesome time during this run of shows. That's why she's pulling out all the stops.

"I think with this whole tour, I'm trying my best to be as creative as possible," she explains. "So, there's going to be a production, there's going to be videos, effects, dancers, a lot of glitter ... I just wanted to make it feel like a rave

Selena Gomez Calls Her Next Album 'My Tell-All'

 

 

Earlier this year, Selena Gomez announced that she was taking a break from music to focus on her growing film career.

Well, after six months, her own fragrance and three movies, Gomez and her band are gearing up to get back into the studio.

MTV News caught up with the actress/singer at the premiere of Katy Perry's new "Part of Me" movie, and she revealed that she even though concentrating on film has been "nice," she is ready to start recording soon "I have a thousand ideas," Gomez said about this being the right time to return to music. "This album is going to be the first one that I'm actually going to spend as long as I want — it can be two months, it could be a whole year before this album comes out — so I'm going to have my freedom with it. It'll be, like, my tell-all, in a way."

Even though she described the album as her "tell-all," don't expect Gomez to be revealing all the details about her relationship with boyfriend Justin Bieber.

"Just experiences," Gomez said of what she will be writing about. "I'm going to be able to talk about things that I've never really talked about before, just because the last records have been really rushed, so I'm just excited to be able to take my time with it."

And now that she has the time to spend on her fourth studio album, her follow-up to 2011's When the Sun Goes Down, Gomez is ready to take on a whole new sound. Earlier this month, she told MTV News that not only did she want to team up with friend Taylor Swift on her album, she also wants to work with different producers. So who might those producers be?

"It's not necessarily about bigness or who they are — I love Sandy Vee, he's given me my song 'Middle of Nowhere.' I love Max Martin and those kind of producers, but I also love Rock Mafia, who have given me my hits 'Naturally' and 'Love You Like a Love Song,' so I'm open to work with anybody."

Selena Gomez Becomes The Style Ambassador For Adidas NEO!

 

 



The ‘Love You Like a Love Song’ singer hits a big project as she signs on as the style ambassador for the Adidas NEO label from 2013 until 2015.

Selena Gomez has nabbed a new gig. She is now the style ambassador of Adidas NEO label, Adidas has announced in a statement. It declares, “As adidas NEO Label’s new style ambassador, Selena will inspire teens with the label’s fresh looks through a three-year partnership until the end-2015.”

Selena will make appearances for NEO in major markets in 2013 and 2014. She will share its latest news, designs, and collections on her social networks. Moreover, she will be the icon of NEO’s seasonal campaigns under its “Live Your Style” positioning, beginning with Spring/Summer 2013 to debut in February next year.

She told Teen Vogue about the new project, “They know what’s going to happen in 2014!” The Latino beauty continued, “They know all the hip stuff, so I almost feel like the underdog in and learning about the whole design process.”

She had her own fashion line Dream Out Loud launched in October 2010. The products include bohemian dresses, floral tops, jeans, skirts, jackets, scarves, and hats. All are made of eco-friendly materials.

In order to introduce the actress as the new icon of Adidas NEO, the sports company held a news conference, in Los Angeles, California, where Selena posed for photocalls. It also launched a video featuring the actress playing bright green ribbons with some other teenagers.

Coincidentally or not, she followed the path of on-and-off boyfriend Justin Bieber, who has represented NEO as the spokesman since October. He will appear for NEO in major markets throughout 2013. Like Selena, he has the responsibility to share its latest news and collections on his social networks. He also will front “Live Your Style” positioning, which will debut in Spring/Summer 2013.

“I found a real connection with NEO because it is about fashion, freedom and being true to who you are,” the “Never Say Never” singer explained when he was announced as the face of NEO. “With my new album, ‘Believe’, I am spreading the message of believing in yourself. The first step is showing who you are, and one of the great ways to showcase yourself is through fashion. For me style is an adventure, something to have fun with and NEO believes this too.”

Will Selena Gomez & Justin Bieber Celebrate Thanksgiving Together?

 

 

Now that Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber seem to be an item again, we wonder will this year the couple be together spending their Thanksgiving? Or will they break up again and give a different meaning to the word dumplings?

Though Thanksgiving is not a holiday in Canada, Justin Bieber has spent the holiday with Selena Gomez in the past — will this year be no different? Justin will be on tour the days before and after, but that hasn’t stopped Selena in the past from joining him and watching from the crowd! So, will she join him for the holiday in Canada like he did for her in Dallas last year?

When we spoke to Justin’s Mom, Pattie Mallette last night at the AMAs she told us EXCLUSIVELY “Justin and I will be on the road during Thanksgiving,” adding, ”We will celebrate it where ever we are.” But one thing she failed to mention was the whereabouts of Selena during the big day. Justin who will be in Michigan on Wednesday and Ottawa on Friday has the day off — so would he fly Selena up to his home or rush to her side?

Logistically, it makes sense for Selena to do most of the traveling, but will the relationship be in a good place a few days from now? Only time will tell.
